VATV is committed to responsible, lawful, and culturally respectful content. If you believe content on our platform violates our guidelines, the law, or community standards — report it here. We take every complaint seriously.
What Can You Report?

Types of Complaints

Our content moderation team reviews all reports across the following categories. Select the most relevant when submitting.
Illegal Content
Content that violates Nigerian, African, or international law including criminal activity, terrorism, or trafficking.
Harmful Content
Incitement to violence, hate speech, discrimination, or exploitation of vulnerable individuals or communities.
Copyright
Infringement
Unauthorised use of your creative works, music, footage, or intellectual property without permission or credit.
Child Safety
Any content that exploits, endangers, sexualises, or is otherwise inappropriate for or harmful to minors.
Mis-rated Content
Content that lacks appropriate age ratings, content warnings, or has been incorrectly classified.
Misinformation
News or factual content that is demonstrably false, misleading, or lacks appropriate context or correction.
Cultural Sensitivity
Content that disrespects, misrepresents, or demeans specific African cultural communities, traditions, or identities.
Privacy Violation
Content that contains, exposes, or distributes private personal information about an individual without consent.

Every complaint is treated with care. Here's exactly what happens after you submit.

Submit
Complete the form below. You'll receive an automated acknowledgement within 24 hours with a unique reference number.

Triage
Our content moderation team assesses urgency. Child safety and illegal content are escalated immediately.

Review
A qualified reviewer examines the complaint against our Content Standards Policy within 5 business days.
04
Action
If a violation is confirmed, content is removed, age- gated, labelled, or escalated to the relevant authority.

Notify
You're notified of the outcome by email. You may appeal any decision within 14 days of notification.
